Watching them Shoot Themselves in the Foot Repeatedly

The most frustrating thing in the world is when you see a person or group who wants something to change, but they have no clue that their own actions are actually perpetuating the problem, and then when you point it out in an effort to be helpful, getting shot down.

They are trying to get out of a hole by digging further down, but they can't see how futile that is. They are too busy blaming others to notice that they are actually indulging in the same thoughts and actions they say they despise. They mean well, but are actually damaging and delaying the cause. Sometimes people are their own worst enemy, and it's heartbreaking to see people make things worse for themselves when they are sincerely trying to make things better.
