The Problem with Politics
The problem with politics is that it has become about winning at any cost, rather than adhering to principles of fairness and liberty. It's become about forcing one's agenda down everyone else's throat, rather than listening to the people and giving them what they want. It's become about telling people what to think, instead of convincing them a particular way is better. It's become about taking away people's choices, and replacing them with one solution that is "best" for them, but not everyone wants. Our political system is broken, not because one party is worse than the other. Our political system is broken because our politicians and political parties have abandoned the very concepts of fairness and good governance.
