Building a Great Society that is Great for All
Building a great society that is great for all is no small feat. It requires good people in the right positions (government, police, social organizations, business, etc.). It requires a populace that, for the most part, believes in the greater good, the common wealth, and that things will get better. It requires a system of justice that, while not perfect, must deliver justice to all, regardless of a person's station in life. And it requires checks and balances, division of power and a system of peaceful change (such as fair elections) to make sure that important positions do not get corrupted by people with ill intent. Anything that moves against these requirements is a corrupting force that can eventually tear a country apart.
